Are you someone who finds satisfaction in a job well done and has an eye for the smallest details? Algoma Chrysler is looking for a dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our busy Spragge Wash Bay.

In this role, you aren't just washing cars; you are responsible for the final "wow" factor before a customer takes delivery of their new vehicle or picks up their car from service. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining our high standards of vehicle presentation.

Job Type

Hours 

Monday - Friday,  8:30 am - 5:00 pm 

Responsibilities 

• Complete Vehicle Reconditioning: Perform thorough interior and exterior detailing, including high-pressure washing, hand-drying, waxing, and polishing.
• Interior Restoration: Vacuum, steam-clean, and deodorize upholstery and carpets; clean all surfaces, windows, and dashboards to a "like-new" finish.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial steamers, pressure washers, and vacuums while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Lot Management: Safely maneuver and park inventory and customer vehicles within the dealership lot.
• Quality Control: Conduct a final inspection of all work to ensure it meets Algoma Chrysler’s quality standards before the vehicle is returned to the client.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Ontario G2 or G driver’s license. 
• Work Ethic: A "detail-oriented" mindset—you notice the spots others miss.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, crouching, and working in a wet environment.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when working with the Sales and Service departments.

Experience 

• Experience: Prior detailing experience is considered an asset, but it is not required.
• Training: We are happy to provide full training for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the "Algoma Chrysler way."
